Aluminum Weight
Hanger and Slotted Weights
Aluminum weight hangers are usually made of an
aluminum rod that forms the hook and the stem (column) attached to a cylindrical
aluminum block. This design is known as inserting style because the weights may
be inserted from any place along the column. Inserting style
weight hangers must be kept in vertical orientation at all times to prevent the
weights falling out of the hanger.
While purchasing slotted weights, you must also
buy matching slotted weight hangers or make sure that the weights match your
existing weight hangers. To do that you must know the stem diameter and hook
diameter of your weight hanger and compare it to the center hole diameter and
slot width of the weights.
The aluminum weight hanger model WH50A and
matching slotted weights SWAxG are described in this page. x is the mass
in grams. For example SWA10G is a 10-gram slotted weight.
