This mechanical timer is also known as
kitchen timer, laboratory timer, educational timer and classroom timer. Teachers
can use this timer in classrooms to limit the time in certain activities or
tests.

Quick Instructions:
Turn the knob clockwise one full
turn to crank the bell to its max. Then turn it backward (counter clockwise) and
set it to the time (minutes) you want it to ring.
As time passes, the knob turns
towards 0 (or 60). By looking at the position of the knob you can tell how many
minutes is remaining before it ring.

This laboratory desktop counter is used for accurate timing operations
and reactions. It has a stop/ start lever on the left side, a reset or
fly back lever on the right, and a key in the back for winding. One
winding is sufficient for 24 hours.
Having two sweep hands, the large indicates seconds while small one
shows minutes.
