This is one of the smallest general use
digital pH meters available in the market. It can be used to measure the
pH of chemical solutions, milk, beverages, juices, water or any other
water based liquid.
Unlike bulky desktop pH meters, you don't
have to bring the samples to the lab. This pen style pH meter is easy to
carry and may be used at any test location including laboratories, homes,
farms and lakes.
It comes with use instructions, small
screw driver and calibration instructions. Active users will need to
recalibrate the pH meter about one a month. |

The pH is in all respects a measure of
acidity and alkalinity, pH 0 - 6.99 is acid; pH 7.0 is regarded as neutral
and pH 7.01 - 14.0 is alkaline. High pH can have a profound effect on the
toxicity of ammonia in water. Alkaline water, that is with a pH of over
7.01 in combination with increasing temperatures causes more of the
ammonia to exist in the free form, which is very poisonous to fish.
