 Tin

Tin is a silvery metal, somewhat ductile, with a highly crystalline structure, that is not easily oxidized in air and resists corrosion. Tin is found in many alloys and is used to coat other metals to prevent corrosion. We offer tin shots that measure 8 mesh in 1/2 Lbs bottles.

Tin acts as a catalyst when oxygen is in solution and helps accelerate chemical attack. Tin can be highly polished and is used as a protective coat for other metals in order to prevent corrosion or other chemical action.

Tin has a very low melting point. Tin shots may be used in many different experiments related to chemistry, metallurgy, and physics.

Where can I buy Tin shots?

You may order tin shots online from MiniScience.com online store or from ChemicalStore.com. Check for price and availability.
