 Molybdenum

Molybdenum metal is a silvery white, very hard, and high melting point. It is a valuable alloying agent, as it contributes to the harden ability and toughness of quenched and tempered steels. It also improves the strength of steel at high temperatures.

We offer molybdenum wires for experiments requiring a high strength wire. Molybdenum wire may be used as a heat element or as a filament in a light bulb.

Where can I buy molybdenum?

You may order molybdenum wires online from MiniScience.com online store or from ChemicalStore.com.
