Oils, Fluids

Oils are used for their chemical properties as well as many physical properties. Multiple functionality of oils makes them an important part of many industries and applications.

Silicone fluid for example is an excellent lubricant that also provides protection against rusting or action of corrosive materials in the environment. Silicone fluid is biologically inert, is not flammable and it does not easily evaporate in high temperatures. Silicone fluid is available in different viscosities and does not damage rubber and plastic components. For highly effective industrial lubricants, silicone fluid may be mixed with other lubricants such as graphite. See ordering and pricing. Silicone Fluid
Mineral oil is another lubricant that also provides protection against rusting and corrosion. It is however combustible and can damage rubber and plastics that come in contact with. mineral oil is safe to human and is used in certain medications as well as cosmetics. High purity mineral oil is completely clear and odorless.
