For batch production of high purity water,
phenol etc. by distillation.
This general purpose apparatus includes a borosilicate flask (round or
flat bottom) with 19/38 interchangeable joint, Graham type condenser with
200mm jacket and 19/ 38 joint at the top and an interchangeable stopper. |

Standard 19/38 joints on the flask
extension pipe and the condenser allow these parts to be interchanged with
any other standard part with the same joints.
Condenser is made of borosilicate glass.
Leak-free jacket sealed to the inner tube which is coiled throughout and
its inlet end is sloped to avoid trapping condensates. A drip tip is
provided at the lower tip. |

| In the condenser, vapors enter
the spiral glass pipe while cooling water surround the entire pipe for
better heat exchange and a faster condensation. Cooling water may enter
special joints using 5/16 inch flexible plastic or rubber tubes. |

| Sanded joints that connect the
flask to the condenser are both full length 19/38 joints for better
connection. |
 |
| The stopper on the top of the
flask has a 24/40 joint.
Instead of this stopper you may use any
thermometer or other glass pieces with 24/40 joint. |
